Country Kitty B&B and to be working
together with Kip and Jean Grant to provide outstanding care
for your feline friends and peace of mind for you when you are
away. The Country Kitty B&B
became an important part of Lynn’s life when she needed
a place to board her cat, Lily, during frequent business trips.
When Kip and Jean decided they needed to step back and find
a little more time for themselves away from the business they
created, Lynn felt so strongly about seeing The
Country Kitty B&B survive that she
is now the owner.
Jean Grant
taught for 33 years as a special education teacher
and carried on a family tradition of loving and caring for
animals. Her family helped found the local SPCA in 1959, and
she spent many years volunteering her time at the shelter.
She enjoys time with her family, doing research on family
genealogy, gardening, visiting Prince Edward Island, and spending
time at their log cabin in the Adirondacks.
Kip Grant
was News Director for most of his 23 years at local radio
station WWSC and has strong community ties through his many
years reporting the news. Kip volunteered with Jean at the
SPCA, was a volunteer firefighter, New York State fire instructor,
and Queensbury Fire Marshal. He is an avid model railroader
and hosts a popular Saturday morning oldies show on WCKM 98.5
in Glens Falls.
